The Current is an Internet distributed youth ministry magazine geared towards equipping youth pastors with the tools and resources they need in order to be effective in youth ministry. Each issue highlights resources, creative ideas, and creative modes of worship for student ministry. The last few pages of the magazine features comprehensive resource listings of bands, speakers, retreat centers, recreational facilities, and other entities that can be utilized in youth ministry. We distribute this magazine monthly to over 1,000 youth ministries in Texas, as well as numerous hospitals, hotels, and coffee shops. The subscription for this magazine is free as our goal for this publication is not financial increase, but to provide youth ministers with resources for real, sincere ministry. The Current has been labeled by one of the most prominent voices in youth ministry as “the greatest thing to happen in youth ministry over the last 20 years.”
